Hi, everyone. I am Mackenzie, and alongside my husband, Adam, I am the owner of Roy Family Farm. I am a lover of all things beautiful, and I thrive on soaking up every bit of sunshine and fresh air I can get before it’s gone (a Michigan winter is a looooong stretch of dark days).

Aside from being a full-time farmer, I am a dedicated mother and wife. My happy place is making breakfast for the family on a Sunday morning- sometimes pancakes from scratch, sometimes canned cinnamon rolls aka balance! Bonus if it’s in the U.P.

A few of my favorite things are fresh cookies, peonies, quiet mornings, and my husband’s taste in music (I’d still be stuck listening to early 2000s if it wasn’t for him ha!).

I have had a foot in the farm and horticulture industry my entire life. I knew I caught the flower bug young but, I never knew an incredible passion and a sense of purpose would be born from it in my early 30s.
