What is a flower subscription?

A flower subscription is a specific subscription where it benefits the member and the farm. Members come together to support a farm by purchasing "shares" in advance, usually in the winter and early spring, before the growing season gets started. This GREATLY helps the farm afford the numerous and expensive costs at the beginning of each growing season, when there is normally very limited cash flow.

Subscription members get to experience the true beauty of freshly harvested, high quality seasonal flowers that are hardly ever found in retail or grocery stores. Farm fresh flowers are so much more beautiful and are much higher quality than imported grocery store flowers!

Members also share the risks associated with farming and poor harvests due to unpredictable weather conditions, pests, natural disasters, etc. In return for their commitment, members receive a gorgeous share of what we harvest throughout the growing season. Our members participate in local agriculture and truly support a small, local business. By purchasing direct from our farm, members help protect farmland and open space, and help local family farmers like us continue to operate. Don’t worry, we have never failed to provide our members with anything but the most beautiful and bountiful flowers!

Can I visit the flower field?

No. This is our private home and we take privacy very seriously. Please respect this. We also have dogs that enjoy causing chaos to any unknown (or known!) vehicle they see.

What are the subscription options?

We have three options right now; Spring Subscription for four weeks, a Summer option for 8 weeks and a Fall Subscription for four weeks.

Can I purchase all options?

Yes! You may purchase all three by adding them to your cart and checking out online.

Can I pick-up my flowers?

Of course! By clicking “farm pick up” option, you are agreeing that you will pick them up.

Can I have my share delivered?

Yes! Click the delivered option when adding it to your cart for an additional charge. Make sure you live within 15 miles from the farm or you will be put on the pick up option.

When can I pickup my subscription?

You will have a designated DAY and TIME for pick up. It will not change from week to week.

I can’t pick my subscription up this week! What do I do?

Totally fine. You can either have someone come in your place or I will donate your bouquet. We highly suggest having a friend or family member pick the bouquet up; people love being gifted flowers!

How can I gift a flower subscription?

You can simply fill out the gift prompt during the checkout process, as you add a flower subscription to your online shopping cart. We will need the recipients email and phone number, but don’t worry, we won’t ruin the surprise! We will not email any notifications until about two weeks before the start of the flower subscription.

I didn’t get any notifications or emails. Now what?

Be sure you received an email receipt for your online purchase (otherwise, it may not have gone through). Check your spam and promotions tabs and do a thorough email search. We email reminder emails approximately 2 weeks before the subscription start date. You MUST add our email (ROYFAMILYFARM8350@gmail.com) to your primary inbox/address book/contacts list to avoid missing important emails.  If you fail to do this, you may miss our emails and we will not be held responsible for information you did not read because it was filtered in your inbox. We generally will only send emails to notify you of the flower subscription or any sales/specials we are running. If you are not receiving emails, please e-mail us ASAP at royfamilyfarm8350@gmail.com
